Position – Receptionist/Sales Supervisor

Hours – Full Time

Applicants must be available to do shift and weekend work.

Past sales experience is essential, along with excellent customer service skills and an excellent telephone manner.

THE ROLE

  • Supervise, motivate and develop individuals within the team to enable them to meet current and future customer needs and enquires.
  • Lead by example, be reliable, flexible, honest and a strong advocate for M Club.
  • Review the team rotas in conjunction with fellow supervisors and management to ensure adequate cover in your relevant areas at all times and at all sites at all times.
  • Liaise regularly with managers (and, when necessary, external customers directly) to ensure the provision of a customer focused service.
  • Delegate in a way that encourages development and creates a sense of ownership and responsibility within the team, working effectively and developing close relationships
  • Be able to make decisions, think and respond quickly to a given situation, taking responsibility through to resolution, discussing and updating your line manager on a regular basis.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES:

  1. Receive and register guests on arrival and upon leaving at all times and adhering to company standards.
  2. Ensuring that any staff on duty follows the required procedures during their shift and have the ability to delegate tasks to Receptionists during their shifts.
  3. Maximise in-house selling and encourage other staff on duty to do the same
  4. Be thoroughly familiar with all company selling procedures and promotions
  5. Ensure a sales attitude is adopted at all times and maintain awareness of sales opportunities
  6. Wear uniform as provided by the company
  7. Adhere to the company’s code of conduct
  8. Understand and comply with the company’s policy on Health and Safety. Carry out all duties in a safe manner having regard to the health & safety/welfare of themselves, other colleagues, guests and other persons on the hotel premises
  9. To spot check receptionists work on a regular basis
  10. To assist in any other departments if required
  11. To carry out any other reasonable request made by the Management Team and guests to the best of your ability
  12. To carry out any additional task requested by any the Front of House Manager or the Deputy Front of House Manager

At M Club Spa and Fitness, we are looking to recruit hardworking, efficient and reliable workers to our reception team.

Applicants must be able to work shifts and weekends. Experience is preferable however full training will be given.

Excellent customer service is paramount along with an exceptional telephone manner.

Roles and responsibilities include:

  4. Booking members into classes
  5. Taking payments for classes membership and any outstanding memberships
  6. Following Health and safety guidelines at all times
