Keeping you safe and healthy is our number one priority. That’s why we’re introducing new cleaning procedures and social distancing measures,
Following the advice from The Government please be advised that you should not enter either of our sites if you have the following symptoms:
We’ve installed screens at our reception desks and we ask that you only communicate to the staff behind these screens. Please use contactless payments where possible to reduce the limit of cash handling.
Upon arrival, there will be clear markings on the floors which need to be followed at busy periods you may be required to queue socially distanced outside of the club. This helps to ensure your safety and the capacity inside the club.
On entry to the car park, the barrier will be kept up throughout the day.
Once you enter the club please sanitise your hands and you will be encouraged to regularly sanitise your hands with our additional stations around the facilities.
If you are entering your car registration into the tablet at our Newcastle site please use the sanitiser below, this will be cleaned after each use.
Have your membership card ready and swipe through the turnstile as normal – this will help us monitor club capacity
Arrive ready to work out to help limit numbers in changing rooms
You’ll see new social distancing signs around the gym, including one-way systems where necessary. Our gym areas are clearly marked out with social distancing floor signs and marking tap, this has been heavily used in areas where the crossing of two people is likely to occur. We’re also limiting the number of members in other areas, such as the classes, ladies gym, poolside and changing rooms. We ask that you are respectful of those around you. We’ve spaced out equipment to meet social distancing and any equipment that we’re unable to space we have put out of use.
We encourage all members to avoid bringing belongings into the club and when attending come ready to go. If you must use our changing rooms please change in the marked bays and store your belongings in one of the lockers within that area, remember your own padlocks!
We’ll be sanitising gym equipment throughout our opening hours while forcing on all our members to clean equipment both before and after usage. The club will then be thoroughly cleaned at the end of the night. All staff has had cleaning training. We ask that you clean any equipment immediately after use.
The membership team will be available for any membership enquires on a daily basis, but slots are limited so you will need to ring the club to book an appointment with them as we currently cannot offer walk in appointments.
There will be no guest passes available, as we will be operating on a membership only basis.
During your workout the following rules will apply:
We’re running smaller classes to keep everyone safe and all equipment will be cleaned before the next class can begin.
Anyone participating needs to book in 4 hours in advance to secure your place; this will allow staff to set up the class the correct amount of equipment. Booking on to classes will be required via website or over the phone. We are no longer taking bookings at reception.
For yoga classes, Members will be required to bring their own yoga mats.
Unfortunately, no non-members will be allowed into the club and attend the classes.
Exercise areas will be marked out for each member while participating in the class.
No belongings allowed in the studio whilst participating in the class.
Class equipment will be put out, cleaned, and put away for you.
