Abs Blast

Abs Blast benefits your core group and improves posture and balance. Classes conducted at various intensity.

Aerotone

An aerobic class combined with muscle toning! This calorie-burning session includes low-impact (with option high impact) cardio exercises to improve your endurance and burn fat. Then some bodyweight exercises to strengthen and define your muscles too!

Aqua Aerobics

Aqua Aerobics is our number 1 class so make sure you book your place! Let the buoyancy of the water help you kick, bounce and jump safely in this effective class. Great music and instructors to motivate you, so come and try our brand new wiggles and aqua dumbbells!

Aqua Bootcamp

High intensity water based programme with little or no impact on your joints. This class is also beneficial for expanding lung capacity.

Aqua L.B.T.

Water based low impact on joints that targets the legs, bum and tum muscles.

Aqua Zumba

Water based low impact Zumba workout which combines all the elements of fitness – cardio, muscle conditioning, balance and flexibility.

Ballatino Fit

Ballatino Fit is a new group exercise which allows you to exercise to Latin and ballroom music while learning new dance techniques. No partners needed to anyone is welcome to give it a go.

Ballet Fit

This class combines techniques of ballet, yoga and mat pilates. It’s a fat burning workout, which is low impact and is suitable for all ages and levels of fitness.

Body Blast

Aerobics, toning and sculpting all combined in this effective workout. No set choreography, just easy to follow exercises to suit all abilities.

Body Combat

Les Mills classes. This class is high intensity martial arts inspired. There is no contact but the exercise involves punches and kicks.

BodyPump (Les Mills)

LES MILLS BODYPUMP: the original barbell class that strengthens your entire body. This 60 minute workout challenges all your major muscle groups by using the best weight-room exercises like squats, presses, lifts and curls. Great music, awesome instructors and your choice of weight to inspire you to get the results you came for – and fast!

Bodytone

This fat-burning, muscle-pumping workout will transform your body, inside and out. Bodytone uses barbells in a versatile, functional workout, then throws in short, sharp cardio intervals to shock the system and burn the fat … leaving your body sculpted and feeling energised.

Box-Fit

This is an all level circuit training class. You will use pads to workout and hit. There are timed stations of circuits which are used to improve strength and give a great cardio workout.

Cardio Fusion

Introducing our new class, 45 minutes of intense exercise with a full body focus. Using a circuit style format, and a variety of free-weight equipment, join us for this challenging yet enjoyable experience.

Circuits

Join the Gym Team in Studio 1 for a completely different circuit each week, testing and training you in a different way each time. with a combined use of resistance and aerobic exercises, the circuit class is the ultimate in a full body workout to help tone and strengthen.

Body Circuits

A versatile, adaptable and enjoyable circuit style workout. Using a range of free-weight equipment and short, sharp cardio stations to shock the system and burn the fat… leaving your body toned and you feeling energised.

Indoor Cycle

Ride to the rhythm of powerful music with M Club’s new indoor cycle concept. You will work as hard as you INDIVIDUALLY can! Train in an exciting and dynamic group environment on the latest spin bikes, tackling flats, hills and even mountains with our inspirational instructors.

Women’s only circuit classes – set stations to work around to target a full body workout.

Freestyle Step

Step was huge in the 90s and MClub is the only major club in the area that offers its members this retro class. Join experienced Step Instructor Shaun as he takes you on a choreographed journey on the step box. It’s fancy and dancey and easy to follow. 60 minutes of pure step heaven to some classic old skool and latest dance tunes.

GRIT (Les Mills)

LES MILLS GRIT is a 30 minute high-intensity interval training (HIIT) workout, designed to improve strength and build lean muscle. This workout uses barbell, weight plate and body weight exercises to blast all major muscle groups. LES MILL GRIT takes cutting edge HIIT and combines it with powerful music and inspirational coaches who will be down on the floor with you, motivating you to go harder to get fit, fast.

Kettlebell Knockout (KO)

Non-stop calorie crunching! 45 minutes of blending kettlebell moves with body-weight exercises to strengthen and tone all over from head to toe. Designed for you in mind all abilities welcome.

L.B.T.

Legs, bums and tums: L.B.T. is designed for those who really want to shape, tone and focus their training on everything from the waist down whilst burning off plenty of calories in a fun and dynamic way.

M Cave

This is the hard core of training! It’s designed to build muscle and burn body fat. To achieve results you use repetitions of exercise to get a full workout.

Pilates

A specific training programme designed to help clients with vertebral problems achieve greater strength and mobility. By suing a remedial approach  to each Pilates exercise. This class would also suit anyone suffering with shoulder injuries, neck tension, back pain and Sciatica. Pilates reduces muscle imbalances, improves flexibility and joint mobility as well as increasing core strength.

Power Circuits

Our power circuits combine cardio and strength moves which will blast fat and sculpt muscle. It can also burn up to 10 calories a minute.

Pump

Fast paced and high intensity using weights to get your muscles working.

Pump FX

If you’re not a fan of the choreographed BodyPump class, then Pump FX is for you. Using the bar and interchangeable weights for different body parts, Pump FX will strengthen and tone your body, including different moves and different music.

Rig Circuits

This is designed as a full body workout session by going around the equipment which has various workout capabilities. It targets different muscle groups depending on which station you are at.

Salsa Aerobics

Salsa Aerobics continues to be one of our popular classes. It’s a choreographed dance/aerobic workout. Shaun will teach you three small routines that work on both the right and left legs and then challenge you to remember the routine as you put it all together at the end. It’s the Ricky Martin and J-Lo workout that you will love – set to seriously sexy Latin beats and rhythms.

Stretch & Relax

This class is designed to help you to loosen tight muscles and gives a gentle form of exercise to increase flexibility. It can be done by all ages and levels of fitness.

Strictly Fit

Get fit whilst having fun. Dancing is good for the body and spirit; it increases your confidence and self-esteem. Learn how to ballroom and Latin dance, with step by step instruction and be part of a social circle.

Swiss Ball

This is exercise with an inflated lightweight ball. It’s designed to help improve core strength as it targets the core muscles of back and abdominals. It will also help to improve co-ordination and balance.

Walking Club

M Club member and keen hiker Albert Peake would like to invite anybody interested in walking to join him on an 8-10 mile walk on the first Sunday of every month.

Yoga

Let the disciplines of yoga increase your range of movement, help you relax and reduce tension. Focus on postural alignment, breathing techniques and the effective channelling of internal energy. Yoga is an excellent addition to all exercise programmes.

Zumba

Zumba is a total workout, combining all elements of fitness – cardio, muscle conditioning, balance and flexibility, boosted energy and a serious dose of awesome each time you leave class. Zumba takes the “work” out of the workout by mixing low-intensity and high-intensity moves for an interval-style, calorie burning dance fitness party.
