What facilities are included with membership?
All memberships include access to our fully equipped gym, 23m swimming pool, group fitness classes (over 100 per week), sauna, steam room, and hydrotherapy facilities at both our Hanley and Newcastle locations.
Can I use both the Hanley and Newcastle clubs?
Yes, your M Club membership gives you access to both our Hanley (Waterworld) and Newcastle (Parklands) locations. Train, swim, and relax at whichever club suits you best.
What is M Spa Platinum?
M Spa Platinum is our premium spa experience featuring a salt sauna, aromatherapy steam room, heated loungers, and foot spas. It's available as an add-on to any membership or included with our Premium membership tier.
Do you offer swimming lessons?
Yes, M Swim offers 5-star rated swimming lessons for all ages and abilities at our Newcastle club. Our experienced instructors provide lessons for children and adults. Visit mswim.co.uk to find out more.
What are your opening hours?
Both clubs are open weekdays 6:00am to 9:30pm and weekends 7:30am to 6:30pm. Hours may vary on bank holidays. Check our social media for updates.
Is there parking available?
Yes, both locations offer free on-site parking for members. Our Hanley club is located within the Waterworld Leisure Resort complex, and Newcastle has dedicated parking at Parklands.
How do I book classes?
Classes can be booked online through our booking system at pulse.exerp.site or via the app. You can also book at reception. We recommend booking in advance as popular classes fill up quickly.

Gym

What equipment does M Club gym have?
The gym includes Pulse Fitness plate-loaded and pin-select strength machines, free weights up to 50kg, cable stations, a full cardio floor with treadmills, bikes, cross-trainers, and rowing machines, plus functional training areas with sleds, battle ropes, kettlebells, and a dedicated HYROX zone at Hanley.
Where is M Club gym in Stoke-on-Trent?
M Club has two health and fitness clubs across North Staffordshire. The Hanley club is at Waterworld Leisure Resort, Festival Way, Stoke-on-Trent ST1 5PU. The Newcastle club is at Parklands, Newcastle Road, Stoke-on-Trent ST4 6NW. Both gyms have the same high standard of equipment and facilities.
What are the gym opening hours?
Both clubs are open weekdays 6:00 am to 9:30 pm and weekends 7:30 am to 6:30 pm. Hours may change on bank holidays.
Do I need to book to use the gym?
No booking needed. Just turn up with your membership and use the gym whenever it is open. Classes need booking through the Exerp app, but the gym floor is always available.
What is TRAKK connected fitness?
TRAKK is Pulse Fitness technology built into the gym machines. It connects to your phone, tracks your workouts automatically, and shows your progress over time. You can also follow guided exercises on the machine screens.
What are Tanita body composition scales?
Tanita scales measure over 10 body composition metrics including body fat percentage, muscle mass, visceral fat, metabolic age, bone mass, and body water percentage. They give you a much deeper picture of your health than weight alone. Available at both clubs and integrated with the TRAKK app.
Can beginners use M Club gym?
Absolutely. Every member gets a free personalised training programme with a dedicated instructor to help you reach your goals and stay consistent. TRAKK screens on each machine guide you through exercises too.

Platinum Spa

What is M Spa Platinum?
M Spa Platinum is an exclusive spa zone at M Club Newcastle, Stoke-on-Trent. It sits in addition to our standard spa facilities and includes a Himalayan salt sauna, aromatherapy steam room, heated loungers, foot spas, and hot and cold showers. It is a dedicated space for complete relaxation.

M Spa Platinum is at M Club Newcastle, Parklands, Newcastle Road, Stoke-on-Trent ST4 6NW.
Do I need a membership to use M Spa Platinum?
M Spa Platinum is available to Platinum members and Platinum Spa Day Pass holders. Standard members can upgrade for a heavily reduced day pass rate. Non-members can enjoy a Platinum Day Pass for £75, which includes access to all facilities across both M Club locations including the Platinum Spa at Newcastle.
What is the difference between spa facilities and M Spa Platinum?
Our standard spa facilities are available to all members across both clubs and include pools, saunas, steam rooms, and plunge pools. M Spa Platinum is an additional exclusive space at Newcastle with five premium facilities: a Himalayan salt sauna, aromatherapy steam room, heated loungers, foot spas, and hot and cold showers.
What extras do I get with M Spa Platinum?
Platinum members receive a robe and towel on every visit, unlimited tisanes and fresh juice, and chilled face towels. When you sign up to Platinum you also get an automatic upgrade to our M Wellness+ services and 2 complimentary Platinum Day Passes to enjoy with friends and family.

M Spa Platinum follows M Club Newcastle hours: weekdays 6:00 am to 9:30 pm, weekends 7:30 am to 6:30 pm. Hours may change on bank holidays.
What should I bring to M Spa Platinum?
Bring swimwear and flip-flops. Platinum members receive a robe and towel on every visit. Try to arrive 10 to 15 minutes early so you can settle in before your session.
What makes M Spa Platinum different from other spas in Staffordshire?
Five premium spa facilities sit in one dedicated space, from a Himalayan salt sauna and aromatherapy steam room to a zen garden foot spa and hot and cold showers. Access is limited to Platinum members and day pass holders so the space stays quiet and uncrowded.

HYROX Training

What is HYROX?
HYROX is an indoor fitness race. You run 8 x 1 km segments, and between each run you complete a different workout station: ski erg, sled push, sled pull, burpee broad jumps, rowing, farmers carry, sandbag lunges, and wall balls. Races happen in cities across the UK and Europe.
Does M Club offer HYROX training classes?
Yes. M Club runs coached HYROX Training Club sessions at our Hanley club in Stoke-on-Trent. The classes follow the official HYROX training format in our dedicated 6,000 sq ft HYROX zone. You can also do individual HYROX training across both clubs.
Do I need to be a member to attend HYROX classes?
No. Non-members can do pay-as-you-go classes for £10 a class. Just book at reception or buy a class pass here. M Club members can book through the Exerp app as part of their membership.
Do I need to be fit to join HYROX Training Club?
You need a reasonable base level of fitness, but you do not need to be an athlete. The coaches scale the sessions so you can build up over time. Most people start months before their first race.
How do I book a HYROX class at M Club?
Members can book through the Exerp app. HYROX Training Club sessions appear on the class timetable. Non-members can book at reception for £10 per class or buy a class pass.
What equipment does M Club have for HYROX training?
Both clubs are fully equipped with plenty of space and equipment to train for HYROX, including sleds, ski ergs, rowing machines, wall balls, sandbags, kettlebells, and farmers carry handles. At Hanley we are an official HYROX training centre with a dedicated 6,000 sq ft zone purpose-built for race preparation.
Where can I race HYROX in the UK?
HYROX races take place in cities like London, Manchester, Birmingham, and Glasgow. Check the HYROX website for the current race calendar. M Club members train at the club and then travel to compete.

Padel

What is padel?
Padel is a racquet sport played in doubles on a court about a third the size of a tennis court. It is enclosed by glass walls and mesh fencing, and you can play the ball off the walls like squash. The rules are simple and the learning curve is short, so most people pick it up within their first session.
How many padel courts will M Club have?
M Club Newcastle will have 5 covered panoramic padel courts. The covered design means you can play year-round, whatever the weather.
When do the padel courts open?
The courts are opening in Autumn 2026. Follow us on social media to keep up to date with progress and be the first to know the exact opening date.

How do I book a padel court at M Club?
All court bookings are handled through Playtomic. Search for M Club Spa and Fitness on Playtomic to check availability and book your slot online.
Do I need experience to play padel at M Club?
Not at all. Padel is one of the easiest racquet sports to pick up. We will offer professional coaching, social sessions and junior programmes, so there is something for every level and every age.
Do I need to be a member to play padel?
